Alvenn is a UK-based sound artist whose work influenced by posthumanist and new materialist thought, seeks to reshape how we relate to both the planet and ourselves.

A central theme in Alvenn’s work is the transformative power of art. Rituals, as explicit forms of cultural performance, serve as a medium for exploring the mechanics of meaning-making, transformation, collective expression, and emotional regulation.

Alvenn’s deep listening practice, combined with research results in work that takes many forms. From sound installations and acousmatic compositions to public space performances and field recordings, their practice is always rooted in critical engagement, reflecting their position in the world as an embodied being.

They are particularly interested in working on projects that explore sound in therapeutic and ecological contexts.​

Alvenn also releases and performs music under their alter ego, Alvin Storm. Their debut, UNTIL DAWN (I) marked a significant milestone following years of artistic development.
